Sometimes, the best gift is skipping the dishes. Here are a few local favorites serving Thanksgiving dinner in Pigeon Forge; each offering its own blend of Southern flavor, family warmth, and holiday hospitality.

The Old Mill Restaurant and Pottery House Cafe (Pigeon Forge)

Historic, hearty and home-cooked, while the 2026 menu hasn’t been released yet, the Old Mill’s holiday feast last year included roasted turkey with cornbread dressing, baked sugar-cured ham, corn chowder, corn fritters with maple butter, mashed potatoes, giblet gravy, green beans and pumpkin pie. Dine-in ran 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM with no reservations, at $28.99 for adults and $13.99 for kids under 12. The Pottery House Cafe served a special menu after 4 PM.
Best for: families or couples who want a classic holiday meal by the river.
Hapey Tip: No reservations means a wait at peak times, so aim for an early lunch or a late-afternoon table. Just 8 minutes from Blissful Tranquility.
Mama’s Farmhouse (Pigeon Forge)
All-you-can-eat comfort food brought to your table family-style, Grandma-style. Thanksgiving meal runs 11 AM to 9 PM and includes roasted turkey, honey baked ham, sweet potato casserole, broccoli casserole, mac and cheese, deviled eggs, and pecan and pumpkin pie. Adults $28, kids $13, and children 5 and under eat free.
Best for: family planners who want big portions and a full table.
Puckett’s Restaurant (Pigeon Forge)
The 2026 menu hasn’t been released as of this update, but Puckett’s was open 11 AM to 4 PM last Thanksgiving, serving a meat-and-three plate with oven-roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, mac ‘n cheese and pumpkin pie. Good for a smaller group that wants a plate and a slice.
Granny Cluckett’s at Country Cascades (Pigeon Forge)
Still waiting on this year’s menu, but last year’s dinner was: pick your entrée (Turkey, Ham, Chicken Tenders), then all-you-care-to-eat sides, regular beverages and pumpkin pie from 5pm-8pm. Reservations were recommended, and you didn’t need to be a hotel guest.
Mountain views and big buffets
Ober Gatlinburg (Gatlinburg)
The holiday buffet is served up in the ski lodge with live music and mountain views. Reservations were required last year. The buffet ran $67 for adults and $34 for kids 5 to 11, with kids 4 and under free. A $107 adult package added the tram and mountaintop attractions. Group Sales took reservations at 865-436-5423.
The Park Grill (Gatlinburg)
Mountain-lodge atmosphere right on the Parkway. Last year the Thanksgiving feast started at 11:30 AM and the kitchen stayed open until 9 PM, at $30 for adults and $15 for kids 12 and under. Reservations opened November 6.
Margaritaville Resort (Pigeon Forge)
Last year’s public buffet ran 5 to 7 PM with no reservations required, at $24.99 for adults and $17.99 for kids 3 to 10.
Dinner, shows and a livelier table
- Dolly Parton’s Stampede, Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud and Pirates Voyage all served their dinner-and-show menus on Thanksgiving Day last year. Book early for a loud, fun holiday.
- Ole Red (Pigeon Forge) opened at 4 PM last year for live music and a smoked BBQ board, running until 11 PM. Seating was first-come, so arrive near opening time.
- SkyLand Ranch (Pigeon Forge) sold one-hour reservation slots between 11 AM and 4 PM. Your reservation covered ranch admission, the holiday meal and the Festival of Lights.
Hapey Tip: Thanksgiving Day is the hardest day of the year to walk into a restaurant. Reserve where you can, or choose a pre-order below so dinner happens at the cabin, dog included.
2. Pre-order and takeout options
Prefer to skip the apron but keep the cabin vibes? Pre-ordering puts the feast on your table without a Thanksgiving Day line. The first three below are confirmed for 2026.

Applewood Farmhouse Thanksgiving To-Go (Sevierville)
Applewood’s 2026 to-go menu has two choices. Order online and pick up on Wednesday, November 25 or Thursday, November 26.
- Take & Heat Family Feast, $139.99 + tax (feeds up to 6): a 12-lb Butterball turkey (approximate), plus a quart each of mashed potatoes, green beans, sweet potato casserole and cornbread sausage dressing, with turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, a dozen dinner rolls, a pumpkin pie and a gallon of sweet tea. It comes fully cooked and cold, so plan 2 to 3 hours to reheat.
- Hot & Ready Mini Feast, $79.99 + tax (feeds up to 4): a quart each of mashed potatoes, green beans, gravy and cornbread sausage dressing, white meat turkey and a dozen apple fritters. It comes hot and ready to eat.
Add-ons include spiral ham, pies, a chocolate cake, mac and cheese, and extra sides. All sales are final, so double-check your pickup time when you order.
Best for: Folks who want traditional flavor without the fuss.
Publix Thanksgiving Order-Ahead
Order by Tuesday, November 24 for in-store pickup. The Complete Turkey Dinner serves 8 and costs under $10 per person (before tax). It includes a fully cooked 9.5 to 12.5 lb turkey, cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes, cranberry-orange relish, marshmallow delight and gravy. There’s also a Mojo Pork Dinner for 8.
Hapey Tip: The Publix dinner doesn’t include green beans or rolls. Grab both from the shelves when you pick up.
Food City Fully Prepared Holiday Dinners
Food City sells cold, fully cooked dinners you heat at the cabin. All orders need 72 hours’ notice, and you should allow 1 to 2 hours to warm everything.
- Turkey Breast Dinner: 4-lb breast, serves 6 to 8.
- Classic Turkey Dinner: 10 to 12 lb Butterball turkey, serves 8 to 10.
- Big Turkey Dinner: 16 to 18 lb turkey with 4 lbs each of mashed potatoes and green beans, serves 12 to 14. Perfect for a full house at Sleepy Bear Ranch, which sleeps 11.
- Prime Rib Dinner and Spiral Ham Dinner: each serves 8 to 10. A smoked turkey dinner is also offered at select stores only.
Every dinner comes with cornbread dressing, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls.

Cracker Barrel Heat n’ Serve (Pigeon Forge and Sevierville)
Cracker Barrel’s 2026 menu and prices weren’t posted yet at our last check. Last year’s Family Dinner fed 4 to 6 and the Feast fed 8 to 10, with meals starting at $114.99 and pickup running November 22 to 30. Check https://www.crackerbarrel.com/menu for this year’s menu. These sell out, so order early.
The Old Mill To-Go
Last year’s take-and-reheat and hot-pickup feasts fed 4 to 6 for $125 and were ordered by phone at 865-453-6002, with an order deadline the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
Calhoun’s Holiday Feed Packs (Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg)
Smoked turkey (feeds 5 or 10) and smoked prime rib packs come with sides, rolls and a seasonal cheesecake. Orders were phone-only last year with 48 hours’ notice, and packs started around $86.
Corky’s Ribs & BBQ (Pigeon Forge)
Corky’s offered a special holiday menu last year, with carry-out orders placed ahead of time.
La Crème Cheesecakes (Gatlinburg and Sevierville)
Your dessert table, handled. The family-owned shop in Gatlinburg’s Arts & Crafts Community sells whole cheesecakes, single slices and variety boxes of 4, 8 or 12. Order by text or call at 865-978-1799, and ask about Thanksgiving pickup hours.
Hapey Tip: Pre-ordering also means dinner happens at the cabin, with your pup underfoot.
3. Skip the cooking (and the line): book a private chef

4. Cook your Thanksgiving dinner in your Hapey cabin
Sometimes the best memories are made right at “home.” Each Hapey cabin, whether it’s Timeless Tranquility, Little Bear or Sunny View Cabin, has a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy place to sit down together, and those little extras that make Thanksgiving feel easy.
How to make it easy:
- Keep the menu simple: turkey, two favorite sides and one dessert.
- Prep casseroles and pies the night before to free up oven space.
- Mix and match. Cook the turkey yourself and pre-order the pie, or pre-order the meal and add a homemade side.
- Plan your reheating. Applewood’s Family Feast needs 2 to 3 hours to reheat and Food City’s dinners need 1 to 2 hours, so start early and share the oven.
- Add a festive touch with candles, string lights and a table by the window.
After dinner, grab a warm drink, curl up by the fire, or soak in your private hot tub under the Smoky Mountain stars. It’s Thanksgiving, Hapey-style: slow, cozy and completely stress-free.
5. Thanksgiving week events and things to do
Thanksgiving in Pigeon Forge is more than a meal. Once the plates are cleared, head out to enjoy the holiday magic.
Pigeon Forge Winterfest
The Winterfest lights are already glowing by Thanksgiving. This year’s display runs from November 6, 2026 through January 31, 2027, with more than 6 million lights across town. The main dates to know:
- Fri, Nov 13: The Pigeon Forge Winterfest Kickoff at Patriot Park starts at 3 PM with a veterans tribute, then six million lights switch on, followed by fireworks.
- Nov 13 to 28: The Winterfest Christmas Village runs.
- Sat, Nov 21: Winterfest at The Island kicks off with Santa photos at 5 PM, a free concert at 7 PM and the lighting of the 40-foot walk-through Christmas tree at 8 PM. The Island’s Winterfest runs through January 31, 2027.
- Nov 1 to Jan 17: The Christmas Never Ends Drive-Thru Light Show on Old Newport Highway lets you see the lights without leaving the car.
Best for: families and couples who love festive photos and holiday ambiance. Bundle up, grab a hot cocoa and take the slow drive down the Parkway.
A post-feast walk your dog can join
Trade your nap for nature. Great Smoky Mountains National Park allows leashed dogs on only two trails, and the Gatlinburg Trail is the closest to your cabin. It’s a paved, easy walk of about 1.9 miles one way from the Sugarlands Visitor Center to the edge of Gatlinburg, following the river, and it’s perfect for burning off that second slice of pie. Keep your leash to 6 feet or shorter.
